  Storing Oils

To ensure you get the best out of your essential oils it is impotant that they are stored correctly.

  • Ensure that the oils are kept in a dark bottle to avoid contamination from light.
  • Ensure all oil bottles have a dropper to avoid waste
  • Store in a dark cool place. Oils will last longer in the fridge
  • Make sure bottles are well sealed and clean. Contact with air can cause oxidation
  • Keep out of reach of children (pure oils are very powerful and should be stored in a secure environment)
  • Date oils on arrival - accurate records are important as some oils have a limited shelf life (e.g. citrus oils will only last 6-12 months)
