Burseraceae

  • Grown in desert and tropical areas - therefore some of the most extreme climates in the world.
  • The essential oil is in the gum which oozes from incisions of natural fissures in the bark.
  • Oils tend to be antiseptic, anti putrescent, anti inflammatory and regenerating.
