Rutaceae

  • Citrus family
  • Grows mainly in tropical climates
  • Small trees - fruit or flower used
  • These oils act as uplifting, refreshing and reviving tonics. They generally have
    detoxifying, anti depressant and calming properties.
  • Main action on digestive and nervous systems. Also good for skin, liver and kidneys.
  • The flowers from the Rutaceae family tend to have more gentle properties e.g. antidepressant and calming.
